This all began over fifteen years ago as a weekly email newsletter called "Musty TV" in which I told subscribers about good movies airing that week on cable. Perhaps you were a subscriber. Then I started this blog. Then I started writing about TV for some other Web sites, too. Then my computer broke and I lost all my old "Musty TV" write-ups, and cried and cried--but perhaps I'll be able to recover them some day. And during it all, I watched a hell of a lot of TV. And still do.

oops, sorry to post a bb5 comment here -- i caught your post on TMFT re: not catching BB5 cause of the RNC and just wanted to let you know they did air the show (not the later night one that was promised on cbs) but it was on .... UPN (or whatever they call KBHK channel 44 these days). i live in SF also and happened to catch a commercial on either cbs or channel 44 that mentioned BB5 was going to be on upn/44/kbhk, so i tivoed it for fun and it ended up being the live show (!) they did make a mistake and not air the HOH comp though.
i know it's too late now -- but i guess next time there's a pre-empt, might be worth a quick check on 44/kbhk/upn. i do the same for pre-empted shows on fox/2/ktvu and check 36/kicu.

Thanks for the tip, 6togo! I did notice the ad for the UPN airing, but I kinda forgot it. And TiVo decided that taping "Father of the Pride" at the same time was much more important. Boy, was TiVo wrong.
