Wow. That Britney performance on the MTV VMA Awards tonight sure was awful, wasn't it? She looked like she was half-asleep, or like she thought it was a dress rehearsal or something. Just no energy at all. And if you're gonna lip sync the whole thing, why wear a microphone pack at all? Who do you think you're fooling? Also, nice weave, Brit. Didn't you learn anything from past weave horrors?

That was sad. She's just a frumpy shell of her old self. The song wasn't as bad as I feared it would be, but I think I could have danced that routine with more pizazz. It seems all she can do anymore is skank - the naked lady silhouettes in the background, the girls dancing on stripper poles. I just wish she would disappear, take care of her kids, and make a real comeback in a few years.
What rbg said. Even if you don't like BritBrit's music, or dancing, or whatever, you can't deny that she was always really committed to providing excellent entertainment. She wasn't awful at the VMAs, just bored, tired, just kind of walking through it. She needs to buy a ranch in Montana with her gajillion dollars, plant some veggies, read some good books and drink a lot of water. Hang out with her kids. Then, when she turns 30, she can come back and put out some weird & smart pop album. Well, a girl can dream.

The only thing that's bugging me about all the criticism she's been getting today is people making fun of her weight. She may not be what she was at 18, but DAMN. I'd be pretty fracking happy to have that bod.
Also, Sarah Silverman sucked.
