I don't know much from "mash-ups," mainly because when it comes to what the kids are listening to these days, I'm way out of the loop. But I'm thinking my lack of awareness actually helps me appreciate this mash-up of the top 25 songs of 2008 even more; for the most part, I don't really know which parts are coming from different songs, so it all sounds amazingly cohesive to me.

Wow, I love that! I only now one of those songs though. I think I'll skip hearing any new pop music in 09 and just wait for the mash up at the end of this year.
Yeah, I may do the same. I went to itunes to listen to some of the songs in the mix that I wasn't familiar with, and none of them seemed as catchy as the mash-up itself.
I'm sure there's something post-modern about that, but hell if I can explain it.
