But I Did Not Ask for the Alien Probe

Has anyone been watching The 4400? The "unprecedented" series (I think that mean it's the only TV series to only air five episodes, on purpose) ends tomorrow night at 9:00pm on USA. But you can catch the previous four episodes in a marathon that starts Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm.

I kinda like the show. It's certainly not as good as the The X-Files but it has a very similar feel, what with the alien (or WERE THEY?) abductions, freak-of-the-week storylines, and occasional soapy melodrama. It's also got serial killers, a spooky little girl, and a possibly-alien baby.

Check it out. It's UNPRECEDENTED!

I meant "nostalgia," a word you'd think I could type correctly at this stage in my life.

Nostalgia!

But for what, exactly?

Oh, I didn't know that the "delete" function actually worked...I hit the little trashcan icon, but nothing seemed to happen. What I said was something along the lines of "Instead of watching this unprecedented show's marathon on Sunday, I wound up watching 'X-Files' reruns instead. Maybe early 90s nostalgia got the better of me." It was one of the better episodes, too, about the weird Amish-looking guy who hibernates in 40-year cycles and can squeeze down chimneys and up drainpipes. One mystery is laid to rest...
