When the '92 election results came in (and were broadcast on the news) I stuck my head out the window of my Western Addition apartment and hear cheers echoing throughout the fogbound streets. It was a magic moment...not like Clinton was the Second Coming, or anything, but it was a relief to get the Elder Bush out of office.
Evidently I can't correct typos (curses!), but I meant to say, "I stuck my head out the window of my Western Addition apartment and heard cheers echoing throughout the fogbound streets." So much for pinpoint accuracy in all things.
