Neil Jordan's "The Company of Wolves" made a big impression on me when I saw it as a teen. I imagine my age had a lot to do with the impression it had on me, as the whole movie is a very Freudian and fairytale-filled allegory about burgeoning female sexuality, complete with red hoods, wolves, and men whose eyebrows meet...As you can tell, it's kind of a hard movie for me to describe, so read the linked Wikipedia article if you want more details. And even if you don't go for the film's heavy use of potentially pretentious symbolism, it's still entertaining, with beautiful sets and creepiness galore. It airs at 9:35pm on Flix.
