After I saw "The Host," the Korean monster movie, I put one of director Bong Joon-ho's other films, "Memories of Murder," in my Netflix queue, where it sat for two years. But now it's going to be on TV, and I can record it, and let it sit on my TiVo for years!
The movie is based on a true story about the search for Korea's first known serial killer. Watch it on the Sundance Channel at 3:30am.
This all began over fifteen years ago as a weekly email newsletter called "Musty TV" in which I told subscribers about good movies airing that week on cable. Perhaps you were a subscriber. Then I started this blog. Then I started writing about TV for some other Web sites, too. Then my computer broke and I lost all my old "Musty TV" write-ups, and cried and cried--but perhaps I'll be able to recover them some day. And during it all, I watched a hell of a lot of TV. And still do.
