I watched "Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny" tonight and what can I tell you? I thought it was hilarious--and I'm not even that big of a Tenacious D fan. But I am a fan of really stupid comedies and awesomely bad rock songs, so there you go.
If you can't bring yourself to watch the whole movie, at least watch the first five minutes. It's definitely my favorite part.
This all began over fifteen years ago as a weekly email newsletter called "Musty TV" in which I told subscribers about good movies airing that week on cable. Perhaps you were a subscriber. Then I started this blog. Then I started writing about TV for some other Web sites, too. Then my computer broke and I lost all my old "Musty TV" write-ups, and cried and cried--but perhaps I'll be able to recover them some day. And during it all, I watched a hell of a lot of TV. And still do.
