Welcome boils and ghouls to the 16th year of Musty TV's Maniacal Movie Countdown!

Yes indeed, this is my sixteenth year taking part in the blogger-based Countdown to Halloween. Sixteen years! This countdown has now reached the petulant teenager years!

Starting tomorrow, I'll be sticking to the format I've been following for the past three years: watching 31 new-to-me horror movies and posting about them daily. Some may be good! Some may be bad! Some may be completely confounding! But they'll all be spooky. Look for new posts at 8am Pacific every morning.

I've tried to make it a good mix of old and new movies, but will admit, some of the older ones are a tad...obscure. Still, it continues to amaze me every year how many horror movies there are left to see in this world.
